International Money Guide
METHOD / 01

How this guide decides what it can claim.

International money transfer facts change. We separate editorial copy, market facts and live estimates so a stale promotion, fee or exchange-rate snapshot cannot silently become a permanent claim.

METHOD / 02

Source hierarchy

  • Official Wise pricing, Help Centre, legal and developer documentation are primary evidence.
  • Commercial destinations and factual evidence are separate: a partner link is never used as proof for a factual claim.
  • Country-specific Wise Business facts live in structured market files and carry checked, verified and facts-changed timestamps.
  • If a fact cannot be verified, the page falls back to conservative wording instead of estimating it.
METHOD / 03

Transfer Index

Transfer Index rows come from Wise's unauthenticated quote endpoint. They are display estimates for a currency pair and amount — not quotes tied to a verified residence, customer profile or final transaction.

  • Expired estimates are hidden from pages and removed from the public machine-readable feed at build time.
  • Every estimate includes observed and expiry timestamps.
  • Rates are never extrapolated from another corridor and never invented when the API is unavailable.
  • The final transaction price is always the price Wise shows at the time of the actual transfer.
METHOD / 04

Commercial policy

International Money Guide is independent and is not Wise. Personal Wise invite links are not used for website monetization. Website monetization is designed for approved Wise Partnership / Partnerize destinations only. Until an approved tracking URL is configured, calls to action go to ordinary official Wise pricing pages.

No placement, ranking or factual conclusion changes because a commission may be available.

METHOD / 05

Freshness and corrections

“Checked” means an automated or manual source check succeeded. “Facts changed” is separate and only moves when the underlying public fact changes. Sitemap and structured-data modification dates are based on factual change dates rather than routine checks.

When an automated source check fails, last-known-good data is preserved and the failure is surfaced for review rather than overwriting a value with null, zero or a guess.

METHOD / 06

Data reuse and attribution

The publicly accessible Wise market-data JSON is an independent editorial compilation. You may reference and quote brief extracts of our original summaries with attribution and a link to International Money Guide. No license to redistribute Wise quotations, branding, rates, price data, or other third-party content is granted here: such material remains subject to its original owner’s terms. Rates and fees are transient estimates, not a licensed real-time price feed. For current transfer decisions, check Wise directly.
