Before choosing your card

  1. Travel and foreign-currency purchases

Compare a typical purchase with Wise and the card you already have. Confirm that your card is accepted in the destination.

  2. Paying in Israel

An Israeli-issued Wise digital card does not replace a card for domestic payments. Account for this when choosing which card to use.

  3. Hotels, car rentals and cash

Ask which cards the merchant accepts for a deposit and whether credit is required. Check digital-card and cash-withdrawal support separately.
